The Matt Hopper Quartet is a modern jazz ensemble playing mostly obscure standards by artists such as Bill Evans, Joe Henderson, and Thelonious Monk. MHQ also play many modern standards by artists such as Nick Drake, Esbjorn Svensson, and Brad Mehldau. Members include Paul Gillespie -- tenor sax, Dave Card -- piano, Rick Webber -- drums, and Matt Hopper -- double bass.
