Paula the Swedish Housewife presents: the Gilded Stage 2010

Thursday, March 4, 2010 — Paula the Swedish Housewife begins her third season at the Triple Door March 18th and continues through to the end of the year with a fabulous series of returning favorites and fresh talent making their mainstage debuts called The Gilded Stage. This year she is introducing you to a few new talents and adding new shows to the ever-expanding roster:  British Burlesque Bombshell Immodesty Blaize, Burly Legend Joan Arline, Bambi The Mermaid, Trixie Little and The Evil Hate "Sea" Monkey and performance artist Bradford Scobie. 
 
New ongoing projects: The First Annual
Seafarer Follies, Wham ! Bam ! Glitter ! Glam !...and we will be revisited by the usual suspects Justin Bond, John Kelly and Joey Arias, as well as seeing several of our own local beloved Golden Idols.

Remy and SIFF present: Speakeasy Series, Vol.1 Chicago

Wednesday, February 10, 2010 — The Triple Door is pleased to announce a new partnership with SIFF and Remy-Cointreau. Starting on Tuesday, Feb 16th and continuing every Tuesday in the Triple Door Lounge, we launch the Speakeasy Series: Live Music + Classic Film + Vintage Cocktails. The series will be themed by city, each section lasting for 4-6 weeks. For each theme, SIFF will present two films either shot in or set in the selected city, with live music accompaniment presented by the Triple Door’s roster of performers.  In addition, a menu of classic cocktails also inspired by the city will be presented by Remy and available only on Tuesdays.
