Maysoon Zayid -
Maysoon Zayid is an actress and professional standup comedian, who received her BFA in acting from Arizona State University. She is the co-founder and co-executive producer of the New York Arab American Comedy Festival and can be seen on Comedy Central's The Watch List, PBS's America at a Crossroads: Muslim Comics Stand Up, BBC's The Doha Debates, and in Adam Sandler'sYou Don't Mess With Zohan. In the fall of 2006, Maysoon debuted her one-woman show LAW at LA's Comedy Central Space which was produced and directed by the legendary Kathy Najimy. In 2008, her screenplay LAW was chosen for the Sundance Screenwriters Lab and is now slated to begin production with Maysoon as the lead. As a professional comedian, Maysoon has performed stand-up in top New York clubs, and has toured extensively in the USA as well as Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. She is a graduate of The Hala Salaam Maksoud Foundation for Arab-American Leadership and a delegate from the great state of NJ to the 2008 Democratic National Convention. She spends 3 months a year running Maysoon's Kids, a scholarship and wellness program for disabled and wounded refugee children and orphans.

Aron Kader -
Aron likes to thank his Palestinian father and Mormon mother for giving him so many reasons to be a comedian. Raised in the Washington D.C. area Aron moved to Hollywood at nineteen years old to pursue comedy and acting. Known for his political and social humor as well as his ability to do impressions made him a stand out everywhere. Kader spent years in the legendary sketch theatre “The Groundlings” Sunday company and is a founding member of “The Axis of Evil Comedy tour” which debuted on Comedy Central in 2007. He has toured nationally and internationally most recently in Middle East selling out twenty seven shows throughout the region. He’s proud to be one of the only American comedians in history to go to Kuwait and not entertain the troops,…he entertained Kuwaiti’s. He has also been seen on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” “The Shield,” on F/X, VH1, E!, CNN, and many others. He has been heard many times as a guest on NPR and has been featured in the Wall street Journal, Newsweek, TIME and many other national publications. Recently Kader filmed a T.V. pilot for Comedy Central called “The Watch List,” as well as an NBC pilot called “Beverly Hills SUV. ” He was a stand out at the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, and received stellar reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
He can be seen performing regularly in Hollywood at his home club, “The Comedy Store,” or touring all the major clubs and colleges around the country.

Dean Obeidallah -
Dean Obeidallah, a former attorney turned stand-up comic, has been featured on numerous national and international television programs including, CNN’s “American Morning,” ABC's “20/20,” CNN International's “Inside the Middle East,” PBS’ “Newshour with Jim Lehrer,” Japan's NHK, and Comedy Central's “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn.” Dean can also be seen in the DVD for Michael Moore's “Fahrenheit 9/11” in a bonus segment showcasing Arab-American comics. He has been a guest on numerous national radio programs including NPR, BBC, “Democracy Now with Amy Goodman” and he frequently appears on Air America radio. Dean has been featured in numerous newspapers and publications including The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, The NY Daily News, Vanity Fair (Italian version), The Associated Press and in publications across the Middle East.
Dean is very proud to have been awarded the first annual “Bill Hick's Spirit Award,” named after the late political comedian Bill Hicks, by the Hicks family and the New York Underground Comedy Festival for "thought provoking comedy."
Dean is also co-producing a new show for Comedy Central’s Internet channel with Emmy Award winning writer Max Brooks entitled, “The Watch List.” This is the first show ever produced by a major entertainment company which will star all Middle-Eastern American comedians.
His one man show, “ I Come in Peace,” was an official selection of the 2006 NY International Fringe Festival and also had a successful Off-Broadway run. The show is a comedic but truthful look at how Dean’s life has changed after 9/11.
Dean is the co-founder and co-executive producer of the annual New York Arab-American Comedy Festival (www.arabcomedy.org) which will hold its fourth annual Festival in New York City from November 12-16, 2006. Dean is the co-creator of “Stand up for Peace” (www.standupforpeace.com) with Jewish-American comedian Scott Blakeman which they have performed around the country.
In addition to performing at comedy clubs and colleges across the United States, Dean has performed comedy in the Middle East in Beirut, Dubai, Haifa and Ramallah.
